Kids TV Cooking Camp - Held at Temple Har Shalom in Park City
PURPOSE
Our one of a kind hands-on camp is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of cooking, food safety, nutrition and television presentation skills while using highest quality natural and organic foods available.

providing a fun and safe environment where children can develop an increased understanding of cooking while using highest quality natural vegetarian and organic
foods available. Activities associated with the culinary and performing arts are designed to encourage creativity, cooperation, self-confidence, safety and
lots of fun!
CAMP DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Micaela Choo is an award winning journalist and hobby chef. During her career as a television reporter she
loved bringing homebaked treats to the newsroom and to her sources in the field.
Eventually Micaela hung up the microphone to earn a Masters degree in Communications. She has taught students
a variety of subjects including dance, piano, cooking and newswriting.
Earlier this year she was presented with The Best of NATPE Diversity Fellowship Award for her work as Chief
of Operations of Yeago Productions.
She is employed at Rico, a company specializing in authentic, handmade Mexican and Latin American food.

SCHEDULE/LOCATION
Monday-Thursday 9AM-11AM Meet and Pick-up at Temple Har Shalom.

Friday 9AM Meet and Pick Up at Park City Television Studios.
Pick-up will be after pre-taped appearance for television at 10:30AM.

TUITION
$175 per session, per student. NO REFUNDS. Please make check payable to Martin’s Fine Desserts. Or you can use PayPal to pay by credit card.
CLOTHING/SAFETY
Our sponsor Whole Foods will provide aprons for the kids. Wear proper clothing such as short sleeves or roll up long sleeved shirts. No tanks tops. Please wear closed-toed shoes. No sandals. No flipflops.
Tie back long hair and remove any jewelry that could get caught.
Children under 12-years-old will not be using sharp objects such as sharp knives nor will they be operating any machinery nor equipment.
